We're a team of Amazon practitioners. Every person at Goat Consulting has spent years working inside Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon Advertising, managing real accounts for real brands and manufacturers. Who We Are

Goat Consulting was founded in 2016 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by Reed Thompson and Will Tjernlund. The idea was straightforward: brands and manufacturers needed help selling on Amazon, and they needed it from people who had actually done it themselves, not from generalist agencies learning on the job.

Will built his family's 80-year-old manufacturing company into a multi-million dollar Amazon business from scratch, making Amazon their number one sales channel. Reed came from Target Corporation, where he spent years in retail operations managing large teams and learning how merchandising, logistics, and customer experience work at scale and an entrepreneurial background.

Together they started Goat Consulting to bring that kind of hands-on, practitioner-level Amazon knowledge to other brands. Since then, the team has grown. But every person we bring on has real Amazon experience. Our account managers have worked inside the platform, run advertising campaigns, managed catalog issues, dealt with compliance problems, and navigated the day-to-day realities of selling on Amazon. That's the baseline, not the exception.

How We Work
